Can anyone help me with this? I have had this bug in .NET/IIS for years, and
am really getting tired of it. For any given project, .NET will randomly
pick DLL's to get hung up on. I get the message above, and the DLL is locked
in the IIS folder. I exit .NET, I can delete the DLL, then I get into .NET,
recompile, and get the same error again. Usually if I reboot, the error will
go away, but then .NET will, at some random interval, choose some other DLL
to get hung up on. Again, I can delete the DLL (after I exit .NET), but it
gets hung up again. I reboot the machine, and the problem will go away.
This is really annoying. Can anyone help? It's not a problem specific to a
given DLL, because the problem floats from DLL to DLL, and project to
project. It's some kind of a bug in IIS or .NET, I just need it to go away
because it wastes a lot of time by making me reboot the machine all the time.

Does iisreset fix your problem without a reboot?

I tried IISRESET today when I had this problem. It had no effect. Rebooting
the computer did correct the problem.

Any other help is greatly appreciated, this is most annoying
