Hi,

When I try to add an XP workstation to a Server2003 domain I get an error
"the following error occured attempting to the domain. Access is denied"

This doesn't make sense to me because I'm using the proper domain admin
password to add the wrkstation to the domain. I checked out the Event Viewer
log and got the following:

Privileged object operation:
Object Server: EventLog
Object Handle: 14682248
Process ID: 688
Primary User Name: BACKUP02$
Primary Domain: FIFTHLIGHT
Primary Logon ID: (0x0,0x3E7)
Client User Name: Administrator
Client Domain: BACKUP02
Client Logon ID: (0x0,0xF4C3)
Privileges: SeSecurityPrivilege

What do you suppose the problem is??? Please advise. thanks!

You use XP Home Edition? (which cannot join a domain, as expected behavior,
and by design)
