our office just got done updating to all new xp pro
machines. We have a domain controller file server and a
win nt4 mail and print server.

ever since the new pcs people have been getting the
error "access denied" "unable to connect" in the printer
status column. now the problem goes away if they log off
and log back onto the domain, but after awhile it does it
again. i have some poeple logging off and on half a dozen
times a day which is very counter productive.

does anybody know where i might look to find a solution. i
have read, printed anything related in these discussions
so far but with no real solution to my problem.

any help is appreciated.

thanks again.
