Access denied to root share

I have a server that has a C drive and a D logical drive.
I am a domain admin, but when I try to connect to the D
drive remotely, I get 'Access denied'. The other person
in the DA group gets the same result. I can remotely
attach with the domain administrators account.

I have had this problem for some time with this same
server, and due to other issues, had to rebuild it. I
formatted out the drives prior to the rebuild and only
installed the same basic software I install on any other
computer, namely Backup Exec and McAfee. I do not have
this issue on any other computer. Has anyone seen this
behavior before?
Thanks
