All the users on our network are being denied access when trying to change the power options.Eg The in time in which the monitor or the hard drive turns off if the pc is idle. How can I give them access to those settings
It is very annoying as the hard drive turns off after half an hour! PLease help

Users must be logged on as an administrator or a member of either the Administrators
or Power Users group in order to adjust power management settings. This could be a
temporary change in account type, just long enough to configure power options. For
more information search Help and Support for Change the account type"

Alternatively, members of the Users group (or individual users) can be given full
control permission of the relevant registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Controls
Folder\PowerCfg
