I have two computers (laptop and desktop dell) on a peer to peer network
(i.e. WORKGROUP) under windows XP pro. I have both C:\ shared to give me
access to everything and log on to both with administrative rights.
Most of the time, everything works fine and I can access everything form
either computer. But sometimes I will get a dialog box that says something
like (this is the laptop windows explorer accessing the c drive on dell
folder WUTEMP):
"\\D32gcg31\c-dell\WUTEMP is not accessible. You might not have permission
to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to
find out if you have access permissions. Access is denied."
I don't consistently get this message, and not consistently on the same
folder (one time I may get it on a folder but a future time not).
Any ideas what is going on here?
