Access Database & Front Page Question

Hello -

I am having trouble connecting my Access database to Front
Page...I'm using FP 2003 and am using a web hosting
provider that supports FP extensions and MS Access
databases.

I've imported the database into the website in FP. Now,
I'm lost. When I use the Database Interface Wizard, it is
asking me if I want to connect to an external or existing
database or to create a new database. I choose to connect
to an existing one and choose the name of the database
that I've imported, but the wizard then asks for a server
name and password. I don't have any of this information.

Should I be selecting another option in order to connect
to the database, such as creating a new one or connecting
to an external database?

Please help.

details. You should have these if you intend to have your site on the internet.

You should be able to connect to a database sitting on your hard drive (any *.mdb
file is a database - MS Access format generally). Basically when you go to the
'connect to' part of the wizard, it should allow you to browse your hard disk.
It will then connect to it, amend the global.asa file and prompt & ask if you
want the database file put into the fpdb folder etc. (especially the case when
importing database files File > Import).
