Upgraded (?) to Access 2007 - a disaster as far as Access is concerned -
cannot use queries at all. Would like to move back to Access 2003 anyone
know how to do it - our Hosted suppliers do not have a clue!

This is a question for the experts in an Access or Office newsgroup.
Oh, you would uninstall the one you don't want, and install the one you do.

Tom and Bob's answers are correct, but why can't you use queries in
Access 2007? They work for me. Type "query" into Access Help.

Has to do with security, it's greatly increased in new office version, by
default.

This has been true in past upgrades as well. Sometimes Access can
convert your queries, macros and code by wrapping it in compatibility
code (which doesn't always work so well). Other times you have to
rewrite it yourself in order to respect its new security features.
Upgrading Access is not something to be taken lightly, unless you're
only using its most basic features.

That doesn't stop Queries from working, though. Granted, you might
need to change some of the Access 2007 security settings to get macros
to work, but I've never seen Queries be affected, on multiple databases,
some originating as far back as Access 97 and Access 2000.
