Hello there,

I would like to create a mailmerge (by email) and in the message I would
like to enter multiple fields from an access database. I tried various
statements in Word (where I created my message to be merged) but none of them
returned the result I was hoping for. I am looking to achieve something like:

"
Dear <Name>

On <date> you suggested you liked the following foods:
1) pizza
2) pasta
3) soups
4) etc.

Please let me know if there are any changes to the above list.
Yours,
"

The Word document is connected to the database. The 1, 2, 3, 4 are fields
from the Access database under the same name.

I am a mere user so I don't know much about the programming side of Access.
Is it possible to do what I am trying to do without any coding?

Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.

All the best,
Liliana

In Word start a mail merge and select "directory". Follow steps up "Select
Recipients" and say "Use Existing list" > "Browse". Then in the next step
"Arrange Directory" select more items and it will give you the field list
from your table. You can insert them and move 'em around.

Dear Donald

Thank you for trying to help. It's more to it than just inserting merge
fields.
Say for instance, that I have a relational database with two tables - one
with contact details, one with qualifications. Each contact can have many
qualifications. When I write to them I want to be able to enumerate the
qualifications in a single message. For example:

Donald,
Your qualifications declared on the 2nd of March 06 are:
1) MOUS Excel
2) MOUS Word
3) MOUS Access

How do I show a list of qualifications under the same name AND in the same
message?

Many thanks for considering my question.
Liliana
