Access & Functionality Problems with Outlook 2007

I recently purchased a new laptop with Vista Business and Office Small
Business.

Ever since day 1 I have suffered the following problems:

1. Outlook does not close properly - hence the data files never close
correctly and require start in 'safe mode' next time. This occurs 50% of the
time.

2. Send and Receive will not work on schedule time - 100% of time

3. Outlook hangs - every session - about 25% of these require it to restart

4. Just recently Outlook will not even open [only once per laptop start up].
If I close it, I have to reboot the laptop to get it to open again - 95% of
the time.

I contact MS, they told me it was an OEM install so I had to phone Dell
Support.
Dell Support claim they dont support the software.

Hence I am hoping someone here might be able to assist with these incredibly
annoying problems.

Many thanks

1. do you use a PDA? Have any applications that use Outlook data? (Including
Vista sidebar gadgets)
2. What type of acct? how often do you have it checking mail? (Ctrl+Alt+S)
Set it for 10 min or greater.
3. See #1 above
4. See #1 above. If you check task manager, outlook is probably still
running.

Have you installed SP1 yet? If not, do so.
