Sometimes, but quite often, MSAccess aborted with detail
as follows:

MSACCESS caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 017f:bff7a1a5.
Registers:
EAX=0000001c CS=017f EIP=bff7a1a5 EFLGS=00010202

EDX=004e74a0 ES=0187 EDI=00000020 GS=0000
Bytes at CS:EIP:
8b 01 25 fc ff ff 0f 3b c7 73 04 85 c0 75 ec 8b
Stack dump:
0062cdbc 004e6818 00400000 00000001 bff7b31d 00400000

004e6818 0062ce14 7ff214db 00400000

Who could explain what it was and why?
Thank you.

It's hard to say without knowing which version of Access you're using.

Go to the MS KB at http://support.microsoft.com/default...;EN-US;KBHOWTO.

Type in: MSACCESS caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL

You should get 33 hits covering Access 95, 97, and 2000.

Sorry Firman,

I'm getting different results tonight than I got when I sent you the first message.

Try looking at http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;208488. As this article says, page faults are caused by lots
of different things. This article has lots of ideas and suggestions.

Something else to check is that you have the latest service packs for both Office and Jet installed. See:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;312564
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;326585
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;239114

Good luck.
