Do you mean 2 GB?

I've never used Media Center, so it may be a problem with Media Center
version of XP. I use XP Professional with 2 GB without problems.

When you get Out of Memory messages with Access, always check and empty your
Temp directories. If they are full, you'll get that message.

Make sure you've got the most recent version of Jet 3.5

See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/161255

You can get the last Office 97 service release at:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Note that if you haven't already applied it, you'll need SR1 first:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=EN
