I have an Access 97 application that has been running successfully for about
a year. It's a split database with a front end on each users C: drive and
the backend on a network location. It opens with a password form called
"frmPassword". I'm trying to deploye a new version of the application
(frmPassword is unchanged). The application opens correctly when connecting
to a desktop front end but everytime one of my laptop users tries she gets
"Compile Error in hidden module: frmPassword" Can anyone explain this to me
and then what I need to do about it.

Thanks much for your help.

Dave

You have a 'references' problem. Open a copy of the application
in design mode on the laptop, open a module, and check Tools, References.
