Hi NG,

after i have managed to set the Trusted Locations for my mdb i can run
it.
but i can't to updates in tables cause the database is read-only.

is this depending on the trusted publishers.
there are no TB's defined so far.

Or is there another problem?

Thanks for helping

Best regards

Harmi

Where did the file come from? Did you copy it from an email or from a CD?
It could be disabled - try right-clicking on the mdb file and see if there
is, a checkbox on one of the tabs that says something about coming from an
untrusted source.

Hi Bob,

I tried to find the tabs you mentioned in Windows Explorer
and in Access 2007 but could'nt find something concerning untrusted
source so far.

Where is the right place to check that?

The mdb is not coming from email or cd,
it was copied on the dos-level from one network-drive to the other.
The mdb is not read-only which happens, when files are copied from CD.

What is interesting, that in ACCESS 2007 it es explicitly written,
that the mdb is read-Only
and that i should save it to another name to be able to change it.
Maybe that gives a hint to what could be the problem.

Thanks in advance.

Harmi
