Is the Save As to 2002-2003 format disabled or is it just me? Selecting out
as either of the 2 older formats does nothing.

In Access 2007, when you create a new database you can choose an MDB or
ACCDB.

There is an option (through the Microsoft Office button) that lets you
specify whether you want 2000 or 2002/3 as the format for new MDBs.

And once the accdb format is created, there is a problem saving as an older
format. Selecting either 2003 or 2000 does nothing at all but close the menu.

I have several queries and an Access 97 specific form.

I did the the split db option, which created a seperate db of just the
tables. Opening that accdb file then i could save as. Seems maybe feature is
just bunked when 2007 specific objects are in db file?
