I am using Access 2007 with an Access 2003 DB. When I was using 2003 to
manage the DB I was able to drag and drop bitmap image files into a field I
had set up to display them, and they would display correctly. Whenever I try
to drag a bitmap in with 2007, it shows as type "Package" and the display is
very strange; it shows a small, distorted version of the picture with the
filename in huge letters underneath. The bitmaps are 5k or less, and I will
only have about 50 in the DB at any given point; for security reasons, I will
not be linking the pictures externally or upgrading the DB to 2007. I have
read other posts and checked to make sure that .bmp's are still showing as MS
Paint files. Why are they coming in as "Package"?
