Access 2007 Import Issue/error

I'm using the Managed Data Tasks saved imports to import an excel file into
an existing table.

Problem: The saved import keeps defaulting to a non-existing file. It
doesn't matter if a new saved import is created or not, it will work for the
initial one and once it's saved default to the bad or non-existing file.

Has anyone come across this? If so what was the remedy?
