Hello. This post has to do with finding out if others are having or
have had issues with running a SQL Server 2005 backend and an A2007
front end located on machines with Windows 7? There is ODBC as well
as DSN between Access and Sql Server. Same with A2003.

The company is getting ready to move to Windows 7 64 bit OS on all
machines so I thought I would at least inquire if others ran into
issues and if so, what where they and how resolved.

I haven't any clients running that particular scenario so I have no
comments there.

However you can remove the DSN settings if desired. I much prefer
DSN-Less connections as it is one less thing for someone to have to
configure and one less thing for the users to screw up. This is also
better for Citrix/TS farms where each individual system would have to
have a DSN created and maintained.

If they've already been using Vista, I"d expect no issues at all.

Keep in mind that you want Office to be 32-bit, as 64-bit Office
leads to problems (and MS is not recommending it).
