Hello,

I found an older post (2004) regarding this topic; however, I would
like to know if there is anything new or anyone had any ideas.

I create packaged runtime Access solutions that I would like to lock
(as in a trial) for up to a certain period (like 30 days), certain
number of uses, or limited macro functionality (like refreshing linked
data via ODBC). Does anyone know of a free product or simple method of
preventing users from using (until unlocked) or distributing Access
files? I've heard of KeyedAccess, but I really don't want to spend
$299 upfront.

Thanks!
