Does anybody know a work-around for the following bug:

Access 2003 crashes the hard way with error 'Run time error 91: Object variable or with block variable not set' when we open
* .ade or .adp files
* that are read-only (directory or file level)
* with Access-2000 file-format

We need read-only .adp files to be shared amoung large groups of Access-2000 and Access-2003 users.
