I'm a bit confused with your question. You 'added a new user'...is/was this
database secured to begin with? It sounds as though it wasn't, given your
bak file was unsecured. When you (or someone) ran the security wizard, it
created a backup of the original unsecured mdb (bak extension), and it
generated the snapshot of the security report.
