Accepting Meetings in Calender view

Hi,

I've been having an issue with Outlook 2002 Calender view. Accepting a
meeting invitation while on the Calender view for the day of the appointment
does not prompt me to edit the response before sending it. Usually, meeting
requests arrive to the inbox and when I accept them I recieve a message box
with the option of editing the response before sending it. However, when in
Calender view no option is available.

Any idea on a fix that will force outlook to prompt the user to edit the
response in Calender view or is this the way outlook 2002 is designed?
