Accepted task does not appear is task list

Help! There is a user on our system when accepting an assigned task from
myself or a third party that when he accepts the task it does not show up in
his task list. I receive notification that he accepted it. He can assigned
myself and others tasks which works fine.

What view of his tasks list is the user using? What version of Outlook?
