Accept an iCal invitation in Outlook 2003

My wife uses a Mac and sends me iCal invitations. I can open them but the
accept/decline/tentative buttons are not live so I can not accept into my
Outlook calendar. She can recieve and accept calendar invitations from me.
Is there a solution to this? Can she change the way she sends me an
invitation so that it works on my end the same way that invitations sent from
Outlook do?
