Accelerated Reader

We are trying to use Accelerated Reader 5.0 with our XP
machines. The program runs and prints fine in Windows 95
and 98. After the student takes a quiz, the "progress
sheet" does not print. After further review, we have
found that the reports are not generated and therefore we
cannot print them. The reports can be generated and
printed on a Windows 95 or 98 machine.

Thank you for any suggestions you can send my way.

Mary

Go to the software manufacturer's website for Accelerated Reader and look
for updates to the program.

The online info at Renaissance Learning doesn't seem very helpful on
this point. If you have a support package, you would probably be best
served by asking them directly. Otherwise, see the article at
http://tinyurl.com/q2vl and/or try running the application in Windows 95
or 98 compatibility mode. How To: http://tinyurl.com/q2vz

P.S. In future, don't use your real email address when posting here --
you'll get a lot of spam.

Mary,

I am running AR 6.22 on windows xp. It runs just fine.
Your fix should be to upgrade to 6.22. It was $99 when I
did it.
