Hi All. I am trying to rename msiexec.exe and I get access denied. Can anyone tell me how to remove the security? Thanks all.

It's not a security access denial. You are trying to remove a system file,
with an 'association to .msi files used for installing applications for
Windows. SFC can repair system files.

Some Windows Vista functions may not work, or Windows Vista may stop

Hi Mark. I am trying to reintall WINDOWS INSTALLER. Maybe I don't need to do
it but I keep getting Insufficient storage on the re-install and I have
plenty and this is a resolution to rename this file. Can you suggest how I
can tell INSTALLER is working as designed? Thanks. Bob
