Hi,
go to Folder Options/View Uncheck the checkbox - User simple file sharing
Go again to to the partition mentioned and look at properties again.
There will be another tab - Security
In the Security tab there's a button Advanced under which there is a tab
Owner, where you can replece ownership.
For more information about Ownership see the following article:
How to take ownership of a file or folder in Windows XP

account. On one of my partitions (F) I granted access rights (read, write
etc.) only for the "Administrator"(i.e. me) account. There were also "user"
accounts, that I didn't want to access this partition.

I formatted the boot partition and there installed XP). But now I can't
acces F partiion. When I try to access it I become a message box "Acces
denied". When I get the properties of that partition I see only 3 tab
sheets: General, Tools and Hardware.

a slave to another win2000 and trying to grant rights for that partiotion
for everyone? or changing the security policies? or accessing that partition
from Linux? or? )
