| AC adapter is plugged in before I boot up, AC power is supplied to the
| computer and continues being supplied after boot-up. But, if the AC power is
| disconnected while Windows is running it won't re-connect until Windows is
| shut down. So I still think it is something to do with Windows - maybe the
| MS AC adapter driver? I can see it in Device Manager, but I can't do
| anything about modifying or updating it.
