I don't know that mbrd in particular but you need to describe the sound
better, e.g. is it like a siren, electronic beeps, long or short or a
combination?
Have you read the mbrd documentation carefully to see what kinds of alarms
it has? Some mbrds have an anti-intrusion alarm which is supposed to set
off if the case is opened and power is applied - that needs a connection to
the case to work of course and there is a jumper on the mbrd which must be
installed to bypass the alarm - basically disable it. Another possibility
is the CPU cooling fan speed monitor circuit does not sense a signal, or
the speed signal sensed is too slow - this can happen if that fan is
thermostatically controlled and it runs too slow on initial startup.
If you can't find anything, you should also check that the video card is
well seated in its socket and that the mbrd traces are not being shorted
against any part of the case or mbrd supports.
