Hello,

I always bought Asus motherboards. Abit IP35 Pro has better Newegg rating
than Asus P5K-E. Please give me some advise. I am building a new PC and I
cannot decide which board to buy.

It really comes down to support. You can save a few dollars and buy from a
cheaper manufacturer. ASUS has the best support where they will keep
updating the BIOS for a long time to come until everything is right. They
have USA RMA support and the tech support will answer your questions with
high quality answers. Their software utilities actually work. Abit is not
the worst but they are a lot slower with BIOS updates and I am unsure of
their RMA policies. The Newegg ratings but be sure to read all the review to
judge the validity of the ratings. I made the mistake of not buying ASUS a
few times before learning my lesson.

Ok. Thanks. I agree. I will stick with Asus. Their motherboards amaze
me. I never had one single glitch with them, and I run a PC for many many
years.
