Is it possible to use a proxy setting for Antispyware
updater. Yes if you have a proxy setup in I.E. it uses it,
but I would like to be able to set proxy settings without
the integration to I.E. The reason for this is some users
either do not use I.E., or have to authenticate against a
proxy, and I would like this process to be seamless.

Please advise.

Open a command window and type the command

proxycfg -?

which will tell you how to set the proxy configuration
