Hi all,

I have an ATI x600 in my media center PC, I also have a philips 23" LCD
TV. Both are slated to have DVI-I connectors, which as I understand it
means I could use a DVI-Digital cable to connect the two together. This
ain't happening.

I can connect computer to LCD TV using vga wih no problems, but can't
for the life of me figure out how to connect via DVI. Should I be able
to use VGA on my normal monitor and DVI on my TV at the same time? Any
"idiot guide" links or advice would be greatly appreciated!

G

Yes, you should be able to. You connect DVI out of video card to DVI in
on LCDTV. I have an LCDTV and it has VGA and DVI, I tried both and both
work fine. If it won't work for you then you could use a DVI to VGA
cable adapter and connect the DVI out of the video card to the VGA in on
the LCDTV.
