Opps, I misread the model number on your board. You don't have a nForce4
Chipset. Prior to the A8N-E, I had Soltek 890Pro-939 with Via chipset and
could not get Ethernet to work, so switched to nForce4. After hearing other
people with same problem, I determined it probably was not a hardware issue
that would be fixed with replacing the same board. I seemed to have more
problems with Ethernet when my Audigy2 soundcard was installed.
But do check your Windows firewall.
