I have an A8V Deluxe with a 3500+ athlon 64. I have a copy of windows 64bit
edition and want to install it onto my two SATA hard drives using a RAID.
The motherboard supports a RAID on the Promise chipset and also a RAID on
the VIA chipset. I don't care which of these chipsets I use, as long as it
works. I have tried varied RAID drivers for both chips but none of them
allow me to install windows 64 onto the drives either because the drivers
are wrong or because they are only supported in 32bit windows, not 64bit.
Could someone help me where to find RAID drivers for the A8V Deluxe that
work on Windows 64.

For Via drivers, try here:

There is a Via driver at the bottom of this page, and it is the
same version as the viaarena package. It is missing the Raidtool
package, so download the driver from viaarena instead.

From Viaarena, you will likely end up with this one:

and it contains a "VIA4in1_64bit" folder and "HyperionPro64-099" RAID
stuff.

I have x64 installed on my A8V, raid on the Promise and single drive on the
VIA.
I got the VIA drivers where Paul said and the Promise drivers here.

The newer builds of x64 need the drivers "decorated".

go to the via website, via arena, and get the 4 in 1 driver pack for XP
64, it has the driver disk for raid.
