I finally got my sata drive to boot on the Sata Raid 2 port. How can I get
it to boot when I add 2 IDE HD's. Have tried a number of jumper settings,
but it keeps giving me a master drive conflict error and wont boot. Also I
had to install a sound card as the onboard sound has yet to work.

any help?

How do you have the two IDE drives jumpered and how are the
connected to the MB? If they're on the same cable one should
be master and the other slave. If on seperate cables jumper both
as master. If you have a CDrom on one of the cables jumper it
as slave. If your using 80wire/40pin cables you can use cable
select. then you can just jumper all drives as cable select.

Make sure the ide hard drive is not selected in the boot order in the bios
settings.
