I'm about to buy a case for a new build with an A8N-E, will the A8N-E
fit into a Standard ATX compatible case?

Thanks,
Kimmy

This page mentions standard ATX is 12.0"x9.6"

http://www.pcguide.com/ref/case/formATX-c.html

A8N-E is 12x9.6. See the very bottom of this page:

http://usa.asus.com/products4.aspx?m...3&l2=15&l3=171

There is a picture of the A8N-E here:

Yep, but it also wants a 24-pin EATX power connector rather than the
20-pin connector on older ATX PSU's - as I discovered just today. ;-(

History doesn't always repeat itself. Sometimes it
just shouts "Why don't you listen to me?" and lets fly
with a club.

You can still use your 20-pin atx power supply with the A8N-E as long as
the psu has the atx12v 4 pin plug.

the 20 pin plug only plugs into the 24 pin socket 1 way so you cant get it
wrong.

I running my A8N-E with a 20 pin atx power supply (antec truepower 480)

regards
