I too have had the A8N-SLI Deluxe with a Maxtor SATA drive running 100%
flawless for 2+ months now. Absolutely the best board I've ever used in 10
years.
Btw, those who have trouble with Maxtor SATA drives should contact Maxtor.
This is not a board problem, but a harddrive firmware problem. Maxtor has
sent new firmwares to those few with problem and it has fixed the problem
every time.
