Will this board work with pc 2700 memory and a Athlon Barton core 333 2500+
512 K Cache processor?

If you have not bought your ram yet, go for pc3200 and this board likes
Kingston ram.(not Kingston Value).
ASUS boards do not seem to like generic (cheap) ram.

Yes, I have the memory, it is micron, So what would I need to do in bios to
set up this memory/processor combo?

For the most part, that combination should just work with the
default settings.

To check the settings, you could enter "Advanced Menu". Setting
CPU Speed to [Manual], would allow changing the bus speed. Your
FSB333 processor would have a "CPU clock" of 166MHz. For synchronous
operation between the processor FSB and the DDR memory, selecting
memory frequency DDR333 is the same as giving a 166MHz clock to the
DDR DIMM.

http://www.qdi.nl/support/CPUQDISocketA.htm

The PR or Performance Rating is 2500+, while the actual clock rate
is 1833 at stock speeds of FSB333.

2500+ 1833MHz/FSB333 FSB333 = 2*166MHz clock.

64bits 64bits PC2700
Processor------------Northbridge-------------DDR_DRAM
| x333Mt/s x333Mt/s |
| |
166MHz Mt/s = mega_transfers 166MHz
Clock per second Clock

If, after setup, the processor core frequency doesn't equal
166x11=1833 , then check that the CPU clock reads 166MHz. Since
recently shipping chips will be multiplier locked, don't expect
to be able to program the "11" part of the equation. Sometimes
boards default to an incorrect CPU clock, so you'll want to
check that it is correct in the BIOS. With CPU Speed set to
[Manual], you should be able to change it.
