Hi,
In a new system I tried using 1 512 stick of pc3200 and it hangs up and
won't boot half the time. When I put in 2 sticks of 256 pc2700 it works
great. What setting in bios do I need to get the 1 stick of 512 pc3200 to
work good? Thanks for all help.

Try putting your single stick of ram in slot 3. If your 512 stick is cheap
generic brand ram then this could also be the problem.
