Jared, I just spent 2 days with the same motherboard
(Deluxe, Version 2) only using an IDE drive. It would NOT
boot WIN XP. I swapped EVERY SINGLE part, used a diffreent
hard drive, but could not get the board to run XP. It
would hang just as you said, at "Loading XP". I called
Asus and they could not help, so I called the suppplier
(newegg.com) and they had me return it for credit.
