I have an Asus A7N8X vers. 2.0 with BIOS version 1007. What advantage is
there for me to upgrade to BIOS version 1010 (if any)? I cannot seem to
find a "changes" page at the Asus website.

Microsoft will soon release their newest product: a vacuum cleaner.
It will be their only product which doesn't suck.

I've been using BIOS 1004 for ages on my "A7N8X" v2.0 (w/no problems at
all), the mobo came with 1003. ;p

On the bios download pages, there is a description...

1010 - 1010_B.zip
1. Support AMD Sempron CPU

1007 - AN8B1007.zip
1. Attention TARGA PC users, please download a BIOS file from TARGA
website!
2. Improve system stability with Hynix and PSC memory modules.

I believe he is talking about the "A7N8X" and not the "Deluxe", "-E", or
other numerous versions of this board. ;p

Hey, long time-no post, where you been hiding?
Cheers,
Ed

Indeed. So where's the update for my deluxe, eh? :-)

Yeah, it has been a while. I got bored.

Back now, as I'm after an nForce4 - gonna see what the fallout is but I'm
looking at the A8N-SLI (since it appears to exist).

I've heard a lot of interesting things about the nForce4 silicon with
respect to versions and it will be nice to find out which version ends up on
these boards, and what the result of that is.
