A4Tech Optical Mouse Hanging and not responding

I am running Windows XP SP2 home edition installed system. Problem is;
Mouse Pointer started to hanging. Sometimes just buttons are responding but not possible to move pointer. I Uninstalled the mouse software and driver and re-installed latest version from it's site. But the problem persists.

Any ideas??? because I'm stuck.
