Sorry, but the 8.5x11 is not the same of A4 format, is it? An A4 papare is
bigger then 8.5x11. Am I wrong?

8.5 X 11 (inches) is US Letter format. A4 is 210 X 297 mm, or
approximately 8.27" X 11.69". A4 is therefore longer but narrower than
Letter paper - its surface area is slightly greater, so in that sense
it is "bigger".

Yes your wrong and right. A4 is metric but is aprox 8.3 inches by 11.7
inches not to be mixed up with letter size which is 8.5 by 11.

A4 is 297x210mm, so width is smaller.
