Hi there,
I need a A4 (11x17 inches) flatbed scanner (I scan bound books) with
ADF and duplex mode so that I can scan automatically in the duplex
mode loose sheets printed both sides.
What's your best and cheaper suggestion?
Thanks!
Augusto

If you want to scan a 11 inch by 17 inch document, you want a A3 scanner not
A4.
A4 is (210 mm x 297 mm) 8.26 inches by 11.7 inches.
A3 is (297 mm x 420 mm) 11.7 inches by 16.5 inches.

Google search.

I have a Brother multipurpose (scanner, printer, copier, fax) that
will do duplex scanning and printing. I've used it to scan genealogy
"books" (family histories) for putting on a CD as PDF files, and it
works fine for that. I'd suggest checking out their product line,
since the multipurpose model I have is the only one that I'm really
familiar with.
