On shutdown after logging out user on a home network. Go
to "Turn Off Computer" and get "DEVLDR" screen which is
still running and cannot shut down. Prolongs shut down
and sometimes does not shut down.
It is call a "Program" But a search of all files says no
such file exists.
This is a tiresome trouble maker preventing shutdown,
quick and easy.
Anyone tell me what it is? How necessary is it? What
happens if it can be found and it is deleted?

The devldr file is part of the driver for your SoundBlaster sound card.
Update to the latest driver and the problem will go away.
