_folders only one allowed?

      5th Mar 2004
Had the "brilliant" idea of renaming my templates folder (a folder in the
website itself) with an underscore so if I accidentally published it, it
would still be private. Folder instantly disappeared. I imported it again
from a backup, but this was a little unnerving. Is only the _private folder
allowed to have the underscore in its name? TIA

You must change your FP settings to "show hidden files and folders".
BTW, just because you put an underscore in front of it does not make it a
private folder. To keep something private, you would have to set
permissions on the server.

do this:
tools/ web settings/ advanced tab- check "show hidden folders".
voila! all your _folders. :-)
