_Chart versus Chart objects in Excel Resource

Hi,
I'm trying to write good code, but I'm confused about
which object I should create:
Excel._Chart or Excel.Chart Is it poor form to implement
one over the other? They both seem to work.

Does anyone have a graphing package for .NET that they
really love? Importing from Excel into C# is just really
slow, esp. when iterating through columns removing blanks.
