Hi,
I am under W2000 , with a 9800 pro radeon.
Before , this card was working , no problem with omega 4.8.442 and
FarCry.
Now it doesn't work , I'm in VGA mode:

I can't install again a decent driver , I get error mesage with omega
and os or video card not supported with ati drivers.
Direct3d gives an error message with dxdiag.
What can I do?
Thank you.

Try booting in Safe Mode, and run ATI's uninstall utility (from their website).
Then install an older Catalyst version (one that specifically supports Win2K).

If that goes ok, then try updating the driver.

If nothing else works, you can try reinstalling SP4 and/or DirectX 9.0c.

I did it.
Delete everything ati labelled in safe mode
Install 6.2 catalyst from ati driver
Delete everything ati labelled in safe mode
Install last omega driver 4.8.442
Install directx9c of March 08
Install SP4
Now everything seems Ok , except I always get this message by right
clicking on the desktop

What can I do?

I boot in reduced (F8) mode in win2000
I go to thr control panel/system.
I choose to go to the video driver place. It's the VGA one.
I stopped it and configure it to auto.
I boot and it's OK.
Thank you for help.
