9800 PRO -- Can't install drivers

Bought me the Sapphire 9800 Pro Atlantis but I can't install the drivers.

During booting after driver installation (I tried from CD and dl from
Sapphire site), windows pop up announcing that "can't save data to 'various
files'. May be a problem with hardware, network or sth." (sorry, I don't
remember the correct words).

Could this be the testing, that's supposed to run after installing? I never
had problems with installing other software.

My system:
P4 1.8
Asus P4B266
Geforce4 4400Ti
Soundblaster PCI 512
WinXP home

TIA

Maybe thats the problem. :-)

Try Detonator Destroyer. I suspect it comes with full instructions.

Need to remove all traces of the Nvidia drivers. Windows still thinks you
have a GF4. If simply uninstalling them doesn't work, and it often doesn't,
try Det Destroyer like Ben suggested.
