9800 AIW will not return from hiberante

I switched from and 8500 AIW to a 9800 AIW and it will not resume from
hibernate. Also it seems to take forever, much slower than the 8500, to go
from user to user using "fast user switching." I have tried different
drivers and disabling some services and startup items with msconfig; still
have the problem
